M/S Oscar Wilde

The latest addition to the Irish Ferries fleet, Oscar Wilde, entered service on the 30 of May, on the Rosslare- Pembroke Dock route, replacing the chartered Blue Stat 1.

Due to delays in the change of vessel, and issues with loading (currently, she is operating with single-level stern loading, however,is capable of twin level drive through on compatible berths), the ship is using her speed to make up for lost time, travelling at times in excess of 27.5 knots (50km/h).

Blue Stat 1 has left Rosslare and returned to Piraeus, Greece to resume services with her owners.
