I think (unfortunately) the days of retaining old names and/or making them route specific, eg. Stena Cambria; Stena Caledonia etc. are gone, if only for the reason of redeployment of vessels across routes.  I expect that most of the new vessel's names will be Scandanavian linked.

Stena Estrid Will be on Dublin- Holyhead early next year replacing Superfast X, more than likely next February.

Looking at Estrid's family tree one ponders whether we could also see a Stena Ingvar and Stena Ingefast  :)

I'm led to believe the plan is for the Stena Line E-Flexer's to get 'E' names (not necessarily Swedish either).  That could change of course.
