Sure is, and would imagine an interesting trip for the crew makes a big difference from their regular route, just passing Athens this evening.

Europe arrived at Tuzla, just outside Istanbul this evening and appears to be in a holding pattern at 2knts waiting to enter drydock/ or getting an anchorage point.

Over the next 12 weeks they have a lot of work to do including complete engineering rebuilds on the four main engines by Wartsila so better get into drydock ASAP.

Adventurer is running late again. I was on her from HH last Friday and she was running about 45 behind schedule (due to circumstances beyond the ship's control?). Does she have a problem any info?

Holyhead dockers are on a go slow..in dispute with the company over pay and manning....Union and company meetin monday comimg.

If it was a dispute with the dockers SFX would be delayed as well. Adventurer is not making much more than 18knots so an engine issue is most likely the cause of her delays.

Would it be possible for Stena Europe to replace Stena Horizon on the road to Cherbourg Rosslare

Does anyone know why the Adventurer is cancelled for the next 24 hours? And why she isnt on her berth in HH?

Got a quick paint touch up as well, several cherry pickers working on the paintwork today, should look fresher when back in service.

She was having some engine problems last week which were causing delays - likely some work related to that ongoing

Did Adventurer dry-dock this year?

No, she dry docked last year and I think itís bi-annual for Stena Line ferries now apart from the Europe but thatís undoubtedly because of her age .

Last year Ulysses did not Schedule Drydock and ended up out of service for 5 weeks

Given Stena Adventurers critical mission it would make sense to give her gentle care and attention at least one a year.
