Maybe they should have gone for on the job training in quick turnarounds with Irish Ferries on the epsilon.

There are a lot of unknowns.

Lets see how Brittany Ferries get on with Ireland - Spain Route. There could be room for competition form Stena or Irish Ferries in the longer term.

Ulysses will stay at Holyhead, she is not suited to long haul travel in her current configuration and is too big for most routes except perhaps Dover - Calais or Gothenburg - Fredrickshaven if Stena were to lease her or purchase her.

Oscar Wilde will spend the next two winters in extended lay-up so her wear and tear will be minimised.

Lets see how Westpack express settles in on the irish sea. I am hoping she will be more reliable and flexable than the swift given her extended length and experience of her handling en-route to Belfast from Japan.

T1 might become a supermarket or a marine when the bypass road is introduced to Salt Island where T2 to T5 are based.

Looks Like Irish Ferries schedule on Dublin - Holyhead has colapsed with Ulysses out of action now three days.

Epsilon appears to be operating Ulysses roster effectively handling freight before being drydocked next week. Her sailing to Cherbourg tomorrow is cancelled

Cars and passengers are being booked on stena

Swift is due back on Monday weather permitting and Oscar wild is due out of dry dock on Tuesday

No sign of Isle of Inishmore coming to the Dublin yet, but i would not be surprised if she heads to Holyhead tomorrow
if Ulysses is not repaired succesfully by tomorrow evening.

Ulysses as build around the limitations of the berth in Dublin which had a minimum draft of 6.5 metres

marinetraffic shows the Heavy Lift Crane Taklift 4 is on the way from Cran Canaria to Flensburg and with arrival date 30.01.2018. Most properly for the lifting job to fix the three sections, Bridge Part middle Part and aft part to the hull

If Irish Ferries goes to three tier loading in Dublin, i would imagine Ulysses would also be modified if cost effective to do so.

When i was at Dublin Port on Christmas eve i noticed Oscar Wilde has side loading capability from its previous life.

They must of resolved this issue with the new builds,

I wonder is it due to the dredging of the port last year.
