Stena Europe is now showing as due into falmouth on the 14/4 so Nordica will be back on route very soon.

Stena Horizon still in drydock and images on facebook posted yesterday if taken yesterday show lots of painting  left to complete incl antifouling and all the starboard side still to be done.

Still no sign of Horizon leaving drydock in Falmouth yet according to time table now due back at the weekend but not scheduled to leave Falmouth at the moment, with Bore Song due on the 12th and releasing Nordica will Europe be kept on route for a few more days and Nordica put onto Rosslare Cherbourg to cover if the Horizon does not return ?

One thing to note, although Europe is cancelled today it has been very reliable in the last few weeks so one assumes the bow thruster issue was fixed, no sign of its lifeboats being returned yet.

Images on Facebook from today in Fishguard show the jack up rig has yet to be refitted to the linkspan, clock is ticking Nordica due back in a week.

Hopefully the storm won't cause any issues.

Stena Horizon currently scheduled to depart Falmouth at midnight tomorrow Saturday heading back to Rosslare but not timetabled until Wednesday the 10th.

Apparently the Prince has been sold to Turkish interests and might head to Tuzla and not the beach, it won't be long till we find out.

Ala'Suinu still making slow progress and has got a buddy, the Costa Toscana is moving equally slowly alongside for the last couple of days, i suppose they are in no rush and it's about to cross an area filled with more fishing vessels than there will be fish in the sea (by the time they are finished) off Mauritania.

Looks like the end is in sight for the former Connacht, has arrived at Aliaga Anchorage and they normally end up on the beach.

Lübeck   :)

Apologies, still in Lübeck would expect it to be moving soon, due to enter service on the Irish Sea Saturday 13th April, weird it has not moved since March 13th, would have thought if its not being used ideal time to get it over.

Ala'suinu is off the coast of The Gambia this morning at a steady 14.5 kts, is going to take quite awhile to reach Canada at these speeds, the other EFlexers managed the trip from China at a much faster pace.

Destination now changed to Las Palmas, due on the 7th, still travelling very slowly, (considering they should be able to make 18 knts on one engine) mostly at 15 - 13 knts according to Marine Traffic.

Interim report into Stena Europe's engine room fire in Feb 23 has been published (not a huge amount of detail)

I noticed that Bore Song has not moved since March 13th and is in port in Lubeck.

A nice image of the Stena Horizon all cleaned up and ready for some sanding and painting in Falmouth

Back on the Rosslare Cherbourg timetable from April 9th, so they better get the rollers out soon.

Ala'Suinu has left Luanda and next stop is Dakar, they are taking their time on this voyage, after Dakar, wonder where in Europe we will see it stopping off ?
