The Merrion Lounge / VIKING VENUS
March 29, 2022, 08:47:52 AM
Viking Venus is anchored off Dun Laoghaire. Using tenders to transfer into Dun Laoghaire.
I don't remember any ship using Dun Laoghaire like this for a long time? Is it new?

Now showing her destination as Belize.
Just seen that, it was showing somewhere else in Norway earlier. I wonder has it been sold?

There must be some serious work being carried out on the WB she has been in H&W for 20 days and is now expected back on Tuesday 30/11/21 but the return date has been put back a couple of times already.

Appears to be back on bookings from Tuesday 7th Dec.

Blue Star 1 out of service after reportedly hitting the pier in Rosslare. Services currently cancelled up to Sunday evening.

Thanks for the info! Was down there earlier photographing Cotentins arrival and was surprised to Blue Star 1 at the berth. .

If you're a member of below group on FB there is a post about Cotentin. One of the comments shows the large gash on the side of Bluestar. It is someones personal picture, so I don't want to post it myself.

I contacted them this morning and asked for any update and of they could even share a hard copy. The response I got was:

"Good Afternoon Martin, We are hopefully due to have our 2022 schedule open in the coming weeks. I believe there will be a provisional schedule released before we can take bookings. I would recommend that you keep an eye out on the website for future updates."
