Last departure for France is showing as 02/09 and the next one isn't until 11/09.

Edit: I see that Vision is on the timetable for these dates. So must be fully booked out or just removed at the moment to allow Stena transfer bookings from Horizon.

Strange timing with the rugby world cup starting that weekend. I thought they would have been heavily booked.

Sailing updates saying the following for the 14:45 sailing "The Stena Estrid has been cancelled due to Technical Issues. Stena Line apologies for any inconvenienced caused and wish you a pleasant Journey. All passengers have been transferred from the 14:45 sailing to the 20:30 sailing this evening " But appears to have reached off Howth Head this afternoon and been sitting there.
Looks like some people onboard since 09:00!

Quote from: scomac on April 29, 2023, 09:23:35 PMAccording to the Stena Line live freight timetable, STENA SUPERFAST VII is due back in service with a 2300hrs departure from Belfast this Tuesday, 2nd May.

STENA SUPERFAST VIII's 1930hrs departure on Tuesday from Loch Ryan Port has been rescheduled to 2030hrs. After arrival and discharge in Belfast, she will proceed to the Cammell Laird shipyard in Birkenhead for her own dry docking.

Currently, STENA NORDICA's final sailing on the North Channel is at 2330hrs on Saturday 20th May, after which she is due to proceed to the North Sea to provide cover initially for STENA TRANSIT between Killingholme and Hoek can Holland from 23rd May. Further cover on the North Sea is expected, after which it is believed she will release STENA ESTRID for refit before taking up permanent service at Fishguard in place of STENA EUROPE on the Rosslare link in July.

STENA SUPERFAST VIII resumes service after her refit with a departure from Loch Ryan Port at 0700hrs on Sunday 21st May.

The Superfast vessels will return to service equipped with pet lounges on deck 7, in the area formerly occupied by the gaming arcade. They will also boast enlarged Stena Plus lounges.

Further to this, STENA SUPERFAST VII is still in dry dock at Cammell Laird, Birkenhead. Stena Line's live freight timetable currently shows her resuming service at 0330 ex Loch Ryan Port on Friday morning.

Another update... this keeps getting pushed back. STENA SUPERFAST VII is now on the timetable to resume service at 1130 from Loch Ryan Port tomorrow.

It has arrived in Loch Ryan now.

Quote from: Davy Jones on April 14, 2023, 08:28:17 AMI know she had problems berthing the other night when it was windy. She finally ended up on Terminal 5 (Stena) with the St David holding her against the berth.

Forgive me as I am unsure which berth is which. But yesterday all 3 IF were using the berth on right as you look out to sea. It was a bit chaotic with all the delays from that morning and Wednesday. Epsilon was loading when we got there about 14:00 and didn't leave until near 5pm. This meant Swift and Ulysses holding off the port. They brought Swift in next and as we were leaving about 17:45 Ulysses was coming in and went to the same berth.

Epsilon is stern loading. No bow doors.

Doh! I'll go back to sleep now! 🤣

Quote from: jpwoodh on December 29, 2022, 04:06:44 PMI read this morning that DFDS have acquired another Irish freight company with 100k Irish Sea truck crossings annually, and wonder if they will start an Irish Sea route?

Yes they have purchased McBurney Transport in NI. I seen on another board that at the moment Mc Burney are a major customer for P&O out of Larne. This could seriously impact that route.
