Oscar Wilde is running this morning but was cancelled most of yesterday and is also cancelled tonight. It should be busy with Cheltenham goers today.

Over the weekend we had strong winds blowing from the west, no wonder Rosslare - Pembroke sailings were at risk.

There are storms blowing through every couple of days.

Swift was doing 27 knots down the irish sea last night. Nothing wrong with that at all

Thats exactly the reason why Irish Ferries have taken this to the high court,

Taking Oscar Wilde out of service to france adds to the drama and puts fuel on the fire.

I some how suspect Irish Ferries will lease out a ferry to Brittany Ferries to meet British Goverments Agreements regarding Brexit,

While Oscar Wilde is available she does not have the freight capacity to meet the requirements.

I would not be surprised if Isle of Inishmore or Epsilon goes on charter to Brittany Ferries with Oscar Wilde taking over Rosslare - Pembroke run for the summer.

As things stand they did not do badly with Euro 60 Milliom in profit. A lot companies would love to be in their situation.

It seams however strange to kill the cash cow that summer traffic on Oscar Wilde would generate.

The court case could be over in May in any case and people tend to book closer to the time nowadays.

Swift is scheduled for Dry Dock in May. I assume thats when the long term parts fix will take place.

"The Group is exploring other opportunities for deployment of the Oscar Wilde".

"The Epsilon remains on charter with the Group until November 2020 with a further option period of one year. This vessel alternates seasonally on routes between Dublin/ Holyhead and Dublin/ France. It is intended to return this vessel to owners on delivery of the second new vessel."

Hopefully they wont have to wait until May for the parts to arrive.

I see Epsilon leaving the fleet in early November if Oscor Wilde is retained,

We have to see, when i travelled on her three weeks ago the crew appeared to be optimistic about her future.

They reckon she will be back on rosslare-roscoff?
its being left very late now at this stage alot of people will have their travels booked up by now
cant see them putting up a timetable from rosslare at this stage, the oscar wilde will be very empty for the summer if they did
unless they get rid of the eplsion and use the OW instead as freight runs to holyhead and france with future plan of putting her back on french run next year out of rosslare, but dont think that makes much sense.
also heard rumour IF have an eye on cork-roscoff for next year unless shes planned for there, which could make sense have the  dub-cherbourg on WB and cork-roscoff on OW unfortunately that still leaves rosslare out of the picture.

Maybe she will operate two Dublin - Rosscoff / Brest Rotations alternating with Epsilon on Holyhead while Epsilon does 1/2 Dublin Cherbourg Rotations per week. That way Dublin - Cherbourg would have five rotations a week and two Dublin - Rosscoff Rotations. Its not too late for this to be feasable.

Where is the evidence for this sale. Are you sure it actually took place.
