Seems like bad planning from the outside

I struggle today to distinguish between the craziness of Brexit and April fool as anything possible :-)

Interesting debate as regards how this will impact Irish routes.

IF has opened a door they have ships and time to recover will be interesting to see if they do!

So the government  have pulled the plug on Seaborne Ramsgate deal, no surprise.

Didnít realise hat they had Irish backing.

Has ASL any other involvment in roro?

I'm on and in the Club Lounge. We are the first customers! Booked on Oscar Wilde - horror - but turned up to find the Yeats was our ferry tonight.
Smells like a new car.
Chaos at the check in desk so we blagged into Club lounge and paid there for bit of luxury. No one else here so all the lovely food and wine is ours.
The red wine is very very good.
Not done a tour yet. Maybe to nice here to move.

..........however we have not actually sailed yet!!  It's 30 minutes late and counting.....

Enjoy the journey - at least you have longer to enjoy the wine! Hope your not driving

Is it just me that thinks it is crazy they are taking over a month after arriving in Dublin port to put in full service yet the orginal plan for last summer must have been days.

With an extra 6 months to plan canít help but use the word incompetence

Belgiums are talking sense, too high risk for them with no gaurentees.

They may have some good people involved in setting it up but virtually impossible to do in timeframe

From what I have been reading on here and elsewhere there is supposed to be a bit of a shortage of ferry stock at the moment, where is it coming from?

Where is BF going to get Ferry from. Is there that much slack in current utilisation.  We have all seen how long Yeats delayed so canít relay on Honfleur delivery date just yet.

Also my view is ICG seen what was happening with British govt and likely to have known figures banded about.  There communication re Rosslare has always used word ďunlikelyĒ.   Given how long they have messed about with schedule delaying another month to get 10m off the govt would be a good corporate strategy, even if it did annoy customers.

P&o twitter fees saying both 4am sailings are likely to sail.

Must not be any significant damage to Causeway itself if sailing less than 24hrs after incident.

A few of the Lorry Drivers sleeping I. Trucks got a rude awakening.
