According to the Stena Line live freight timetable Nordica is due to pick up service with the 0855 from Holyhead Sunday Morning, 3/5/20.

The article on NI Ferry also explains that Nordica has been on a UK Goverment DfT charter presumably a stand by  which explains why she has been hanging around Rotterdam so long since finishing in Rosslare last October.

Something Kicked off in Liverpool due to the cash flow squeeze

from rte.ie

'A key supply line linking Liverpool and Dublin has been indefinitely delayed after Peel Ports prevented a P&O Ferries vessel from sailing.

Peel Ports is the owner of The Mersey Docks and Harbour Company, which operates the docks at the Port of Liverpool.

The Norbay, a ropax vessel, is a ship carrying food, medicine and other supplies between the port of Liverpool and the port of Dublin.

However, it was stopped in Liverpool this morning after P&O was presented with what the company described as "a sudden demand for payment of almost £600,000".'

Hi Folks, I just wondering about the Stena Nordica she doesn't seem to have done much since she finished covering Rosslare Fishguard last October what Stena's plans for her?

From the IF website booking engine and sailing updates page.

The Ulysses returns with the 2055 ex Dublin Monday Night 23/03.

WB Yeats takes over Rosslare Pembroke with the 2045 from Rosslare Monday Night also.

As a result of this IF  have cancelled the 0805 ex Dublin and 1410 ex Holyhead on Monday. Pax transferred to Stena Line.

I suppose with current COVID 19 situation Inishmores trip to Poland wont be an issue as long as the yard there is allowed to stay open.

Stena Estrid went technical this morning and the 02.30 sailing from Holyhead departed at 11.15. therefore delaying the 0855 Superfast X until 13.15.

Stena Europe went technical for a few days last week and had a day off last Monday for essential maintenance. Along with bad weather its been very hit and miss on the Southern Corridor the last 2 weeks.

The new Dublin Swift timings are interesting.  Different departure times on alternate days.  IF said this was in response to passenger feedback when I asked, but itís surely no coincidence that the days she sails later are when W.B is in port!

Is the Swift being fixed while its wintering in Holyhead? Didn't it have issues before the end of the season last year?

WB Yeats seems to be coping well with Storm Ciara  leaving Dublin pretty much on time tonight for Holyhead where as Stena Estrid has been cancelled twice ex Dublin today.

Inishmore cancelled all day as you would expect.
