Due to technical difficulties Swift Cancelled until further notice . Also Rumours circulating that in the coming Months both Inishmore and Ulysses will be going to have Scrubbers fitted . A ship yard in Poland was mentioned ,

I was planning on getting the swift on Monday, that is a pity but it has been running late a lot recently

MARCH 21, 2019

A man in his ‘twenties’ has died in a freak accident during the loading process on board the Irish Ferries ship ‘Isle of Inishmore’ while docked at Rosslare Europort this morning.
The man, believed to be from Latvia, and an employee of Irish Ferries ground staff based at Rosslare Europort, was crushed between two trucks.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after the incident was witnessed around 7.30 am.
Investigation into the circumstances that caused the trauma has already begun.

I traveled on the WBY for the 1st time 2 weeks ago. I must say she is a fabulous ferry, interior finish is high quality. Foot passenger boarding at Dublin Port was simple. Sailing was very quiet. didn't try the food. had a couple of drinks. all very enjoyable. the lack of 3 pin sockets is the only issue I noticed. Although I had seen this flagged beforehand.

Oscar Wilde is running this morning but was cancelled most of yesterday and is also cancelled tonight. It should be busy with Cheltenham goers today.

Over the weekend we had strong winds blowing from the west, no wonder Rosslare - Pembroke sailings were at risk.

There are storms blowing through every couple of days.

yes its going to be lively over the next few days

Looking at social media it appears there was a press launch today on the afternoon sailing. A very nice day for it too.

I hope to try out the WB myself on Thursday.
