Looks Like the Epsilon will be finished with Irish ferries after the 02.00 on Tuesday 7th of November , Rumor has it the Norbay done berthing trials in Dublin & Holyhead today . Irish ferries have it only for a 6 week charter while they look for a suitable vessel for the Rosslare - Pembroke route so the Oscar wilde can move to Dublin

Irish ferries are looking at 3 more ships I was told . 1 ship for extra capacity for Dublin to Cherbourg,  and 2 more ships for Dover to Calais  .

I Totally agree the prices for the WB yeats to france for even a quick day trip are very expensive for 2 adults & children without cabins . I thought irish ferries would want a good few bookings to get some revenue in . I usually do the trip to france with Irish ferries two times between June and August but with the prices sky high dont think I will . They should adopt the Ryanair policy seat sales to boost bookings.

I would honestly be shocked as a good frequent user off irish ferries if they took the WB yeats off the Ulysses schedule.  The Ulysses really needs an overhaul . Its constantly having problems as where the Yeats is a fantastic ship.and very reliable compared to the Ulysses.  There is more bad weather on the way .

Apparently Ulysses has being also having technical and operational issues,  so it makes sense to switch the WB yeats to it's the Ulysses schedule.  The yeats is more reliable . I would keep the yeats on the Ulysses schedule until it returns from Poland.

All I can Say for 20 years old the Inishmore is a Fantastic Ship , I have great memories of the inishmore , Gayle force 11 storms while on the Dublin - Holyhead route , Being in the Bridge meeting Captain Tom Joyce so Many years ago . Also Im glad the inishmore is around until Tuesday at least on the Dublin - Holyhead route I hope to get another trip on it . Such a lovely vessel I wish it would stay in Dublin . Great ferry . Every time the inishmore comes to Dublin id happily to  take a trip on it . it is well maintained such a credit to irish ferries . I was on the inishmore yesterday it took to the irish sea with a minor delay but no problems at all to the lovely ferry .

The News Board / Oscar Wilde ( Dublin - Holyhead )
January 01, 2017, 10:59:57 PM
Hi Friends , I am just wondering why Irish ferries don't offer day trips on the Oscar wilde when its up helping out in Dublin , But what annoys me is when the Oscar Wilde Covers the Isle of Inishmore its able to take foot passengers . Why cant the Oscar wilde Cover the Ulysses refit . Today the Swift was cancelled all the swifts foot passengers where transferred to the Oscar wilde its completely stupid . I only do the Day trips on the Dublin - Holyhead route for my young son . I tired to ring irish ferries about it I was told I would get a call back but never did . Thanks

Personally I would love to See Irish Ferries to have there vessels based at Dublin . I really want to go to on the Oscar Wilde , Also I would love to see the Isle of Inishmore back at Dublin to assist  the Ulysses on the Dublin to Holyhead Route . The Inishmore is a Super vessel along with the Ulysses . Irish ferries would clean up if You go direct from Dublin - Cherbourg as a Foot passenger . And having the Inishmore / Ulysses on the Dublin - Holyhead Route would be great for Freight . Irish ferries would clean up .
