The News Board / Re: Brittany Ferries fleet movements

No sailings scheduled for next weekend either on Cork Roscoff.  Bit of pain for those scheduling to start holiday of with BH weekend.

Is the Conamera doing an extra Roscoff run?

With her first visit to Cork Amorique holds the distinction as the only  Brittany Ferries vessel to have serviced every one of the companies destinations .

Has she been to Spain? Though the Barfleur was the only ship in the current fleet that's been to all ports...

Maybe the are keeping hens someone on the ship?

Maybe we should all club together - do a better job than these guys!

My favourite bit is the "log in" on their website is an image that links to google.

Long as I don't have to build a booking engine, i'm in!

You would have to put a lot of the blame for this decision on the poor management of the port, over many years, by Irish Rail.

I'm not sure anyone can say it's a surprise. ICG have criticized the fees and lack of development at Rosslare a number of times in the press. It is, however, a baffling move considering what is happening across the Irish Sea at the moment, and how important fast and reliable direct links to France could be next year.

Only reporting what I have heard from others

Donít post what you hear from others, post what you know as facts. I now laugh at what you post because I know 99.999999999% of it is wrong.

Mod note:
It's nearly Christmas, can we all just be kind to each other?

@Wilty: if something posts something inaccurate, by all means challenge it, but only their post. No personal attacks.

That said, you have a point - spreading of rumors, especially when the delivery of the vessel was delayed already, does not help matters.

Mod note
Threads go off topic, but i'm not sure the downfall of the Irish Merchant Navy is relevant to the delivery of W.B Yates. If you want to discuss (please do, it's fascinating, specially Irish Shippings history and sudden liquidation), please start a separate thread.

There was an issue with new members registering caused by an outdated plug in.

Looks like this has now been resolved, of course if anyone notices any other issues, pleas let me know.

Without you we would have to gather on street corners to discuss all this ferry related stuff....

Haha, i can just see you all standing on the East Link Bridge chatting away.

Obviously, if anyone has any suggestions on how to improve things, let me know!

Hi all,

This issue with logging in should be resolved now, apologies for the delay, the errors were a result of a change to SMFs security features, any further issues, please let me know.

Also, the theme still needs some more work, apologies things don't look as good as usual, leave it with me.

Sorry, yes, log in should work with this link:

I need to make changes to the template, but need to do some testing before putting it live.
