Does anyone know when Stena Edda is expected on the Belfast/Liverpool route and which vessel she is likely to replace, i.e. Mersey or Lagan?

Not the normal sort of thing posted here I know but hopefully no one will mind.

Taking the overnight ferry Belfast-Liverpool in July. I know the ship actually sails at 10.30 pm but has anyone any experience of what time you are generally allowed to board the ship and occupy the cabin. We are travelling with kids so would obviously like to get them to bed as early as possible.

We are travelling with our car.

Any information would be appreciated.

Taking a trip on IoI  to Pembroke next Monday, 13th Feb, I am taking my two boys and was wondering if it is possible to get a tour of the bridge for them, and me ;-)  and if so how would I go about organising it? Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Anyone heard any updates on how the new IF ship is progressing in the yard? Is it still on target to be in service next year?

Probably covered here before somewhere but can anyone throw any light on why the Oscar Wilde is painted predominantly blue, yet is shown as predominantly white on IF promotional material. IMHO it would look stunning in while althought I know that the sparkling white would age rather faster than the blue. If anyone can throw any light on that one??
