The Stena Europe has been carrying Irish Ferries traffic this week as the  Blue Star 1 has gone for repair.
Stena Europe was running 5 hrs late yesterday is now 9 hrs late. They have cancelled this evenings rotation from Rosslare in order to get back on schedule.

Stena Estrid's delayed arrival from Cherbourg this afternoon (due to earlier weather delays from Saturday)  is causing some congestion in Rosslare this evening. Stena Europe waited for the berth to come available and will have to be turned around in an hour if not to delay the Inishmore.
Connemara and Drotten on the other berths. Foreteller will return to the berth to finish loading for the 22.00 sailing after their departure.

WB Yeats had trouble berthing in Holyhead this afternoon due to high winds presumably finally on the berth at 5pm.

Mega Express Four departed Dublin 16.00ish for its first weekend sailing to Cherbourg.
Mega Express Four was can cancelled yesterday afternoon ex 14.30 Dublin and return due to the weather.

Epsilon sailing to Cherbourg ex Dublin was delayed last night departing 5 hours late after a 4 hour late from Cherbourg.

IOI Rosslare Pembroke was running around 10 hours late this morning arriving in Rosslare at 16.45 vice 06.45. With the  08.45 ex Rosslare and return cancelled it is now back on time for the 20.45 tonight.

Wound not fancy being on any sailing on the Irish Sea this weekend.

Given the current situation with GB route quite and Cherbourg busy it will be interesting to see how IF manage the dry docking season. Last year they hired a Freighter in Stena Foreteller. With the current timetable only set until the end of the month we will surly see some news soon.

Could they do something drastic such as suspend Rosslare Pembroke for a month?

There is now a Dublin - Cherbourg showing route on the Stena Line live freight timetable. It shows Estrid doing 1  return trip next weekend Jan 23/24. Things are getting very interesting.

From Stena website - because of ?operational issues? there will be only one trip each way per day from 15th to 26th January on Fishguard to Rosslare route. So, they have cut the timetable in half for about 10 days.

The timetable has been cut since last weekend.

I see that Stena have now tweaked their Dublin Holyhead timetable from 01/01/2021.

The biggest change is the afternoon Adventurer sailing from Holyhead now not leaving until 14.45.

Looks like more weather related problems for Vinga.  Stuck in Fishguard at the mo.

They transferred pax from todays 13.10 ex Fishguard to Irish Ferries at Pembroke Dock per the Stena Line sailing updates

Stena Vinga took over Rosslare Fishguard as per schedule last night but has been delayed today due to a medical emergency, I hope everyone is ok. This evenings/tonight's scheduled sailings from Rosslare and Fishguard have been cancelled.
Vinga now gone technical, cancelled ex Fishguard tonight, is only just leaving Rosslare as I type. I don't think this ferry is as good a relief ship as Nordica given all the cancellations due to weather on the Cherbourg route since Vinga arrived in Rosslare. I can't imagine the hauliers are very happy.
