Title: Spammers
Post by: cullyburn on June 30, 2015, 12:16:56 PM
This is getting beyond a joke, I logged on last night after a few days of inactivity and checked 'unread posts' and found 4 pages of absolute rubbish sent by people who have nothing else to do. In it all was 3 items relating to current threads.

Anyone who follows shipping activity, particularly ferry activity, round our shores and wider euro activity dosen't have time to sift through this dross.  :-\ :-\

I explained how we currently combat Spam here (http://irish-ferries-enthusiasts.com/forum/index.php?topic=1025.0), but there is no way I can make the boards usable and guaranteed Spam free (a lot of posts are quarantined based on links they contain thanks to Akismet).

If you see something that shouldn't be here, hit report "Report to moderator". Meself and Larry enjoy banning the Spammers ;)
