She certainly looks bad however Stena have (according to www.westerntelegraph.co.uk) issued a statement to quash the rumours that she is being replaced with a smaller ship and that Nordica will be returning to the Baltic after refit cover.

Niall

Nordica was always going to return to the Gdynia route after covering refits on the Irish Sea. It has been rumoured that Europe will be replaced in the Autumn with Nordica. Only time will tell.

Great images as always thanks for posting, fantastic to see the port so busy, amazing Stena didn't get Seatruck to remove their branding while they have the Panorama on charter, and see Irish Rail have not managed to tarmac the road yet !

Fantastic images as always, the dark sky over the Salamanca looks very threatening. That was a very cold day to be taking pictures !!

Great images again, was down Friday afternoon and also Sunday morning and just Optima Seaways in port (think it was Fri, weekend was a busy) also great to see construction progress on the former Great Southern behind your photo areas in the port.

Ned Kelly the legendary trucker has also released a new YouTube which gave a great look at the Customs yard up the road, well worth checking out, although his language is very very fruity in this particular episode.(not for young ears)

Noticed the work going on in the former GS hotel. Stayed there many times years ago. What's going in there?

As far as I know it's going to a nursing/care home, which is a great location for one if there is no chance of it being a hotel etc.

Great views and a fantastic setting.
