Somehow I doubt they are going to keep an asset they can sell on now lying around gathering dust to be used for only for a few months a year - it's no secret she's available at the right price either.

They call it the Dublin Swift.

And at this point having a spare ferry with a proven track record to France, with the possibility of problems with the landbridge come Brexit seems like a plan....

Additionally if it was sold when the rumours started in November, why not tell the market by now? They surely could do the with positive news and this would improve IFs share price as they cash flow model the business to determine share price.

The latest irish ferries press release about the upgrades to the Ulysses specifically mentions six ferries in irish ferries fleet.

Ref the above comment from last week, it's noted that Irish Ferries home page only shows five vessels - Yeats, Ulysses, Epsilon, Inishmore, & Swift

The Website every day changes like the weather.

Irish Ferries appear to be assembling the Jigsaw for Summer 2019.

With Brexit coming and new unproven tonnage in the fleet better to keep the old lady until things settle down.

Suspect nothing will happen until the Inishmore returns from dry dock

Isle of Inishmore is due back on Thursday.

I suspect the next announcement will be 14 March 2019 when Dublin Swift goes back into service.

we are all waiting with bated breath to see what happens to the oscar wide, where is she off to next,
how we all love to see her on rosslare - roscoff, but that seems to be very very slim chance of that happening

We have to see, when i travelled on her three weeks ago the crew appeared to be optimistic about her future.

They reckon she will be back on rosslare-roscoff?
its being left very late now at this stage alot of people will have their travels booked up by now
cant see them putting up a timetable from rosslare at this stage, the oscar wilde will be very empty for the summer if they did
unless they get rid of the eplsion and use the OW instead as freight runs to holyhead and france with future plan of putting her back on french run next year out of rosslare, but dont think that makes much sense.
also heard rumour IF have an eye on cork-roscoff for next year unless shes planned for there, which could make sense have the  dub-cherbourg on WB and cork-roscoff on OW unfortunately that still leaves rosslare out of the picture.

Maybe she will operate two Dublin - Rosscoff / Brest Rotations alternating with Epsilon on Holyhead while Epsilon does 1/2 Dublin Cherbourg Rotations per week. That way Dublin - Cherbourg would have five rotations a week and two Dublin - Rosscoff Rotations. Its not too late for this to be feasable.

Maybe a UK Government charter for brexit ,

To complicate matters even further Isle of Inishmore is not due back from Liverpool until the 17th March
