Coming soon to the Irish Sea Southern Corridor the Stena Europe.

Freshly painted and branded with current Stena Line livery for the first time, with Stena Line now branded below bridge.

Her livery is pretty much identical as before

Never had Stena branding on front of vessel before, only Irish Sea based ferry not to have this.

Surely she was meant to be back long before now?! She's in danger of missing the entire summer season if she's delayed much more. I know someone who emailed and asked Stena Line and they don't even really know!

I wonder if there are capacity issues with the Nordica given we are now in the middle of the summer peak?

There must be movement of traffic over to irish ferries.

Stena Europe is now 1 month overdue, maybe leaving drydock on monday

Notice Stena Europe has moved on the timetable to return to service on the Saturday of August bank holiday weekend, would have to leave Turkey ASAP to make that deadline and get back into service.

Would imagine that when Europe returns the Marine authorities will have to inspect and certify along with Marine Evacuation tests on new MES normally carried out for crew training etc.

Given the amount of Sold Out on Nordica sailings it's costing some money with the extended refit time, hopefully will be worth the wait.

Still in Tuzla, posted on the Facebook

looking at marinetraffic Stena Europe has moved out of docks, a test run or ready for departure, I don't know

Being towed back into port this evening, surely cannot leave until after Wexford match tomorrow !! Crew in Tuzla would not be happy if they missed the match !?%!

Based on most drydock periods, engines usually act up when started for first time in anger for months, expect a few gremlins as they bring all the systems back to life.

Windy conditions in Tuzla curtailed the planned seatrials today, they will have to try again another day.

Once completed it will be full ahead for Fishguard, taking on bunkers in Gibraltar.

We are now realistically looking at a mid-August return for Europe (allowing for a 10-12 day voyage, taking on stores, drills, etc).  Despite what is being posted elsewhere.  Hopefully the trials go well.

26th August looks like the latest return date for the Europe, while featured on booking engine well before that, lots of sailings marked Sold Out, which would suggest Nordica is vessel expected to be covering these sailings.

Stena Europe crew are in Tuzla waiting to take Europe home, hopefully they will be on the way soon.

Or they've capped bookings until they know for sure the Europe will be back and incase she's not. Doesn't mean she will be as late as you suggest!
