The yet to be renamed Stena Hollandica has arrived at Remontowa yard in Gdansk for an extensive rebuild , new superstructure will be added as the ships passenger space is extended , A high number of cabins will be added and new public areas created , all existing cabins and public spaces will be refurbished and rearranged.
New docking ramps and new loading equipment will also be added as the car/freight area's will be rearranged to suit its new route.

It is expected that the former Stena Hollandica will become Stena Germanica , the current Stena Germanica will then be renamed and will replace either Finnarrow or Stena Baltica on Gdynia - Karlskrona service , it is not yet known which of the Polish tonnage will be replaced first.

Stena Lines fast-craft service between Fishguard & Rosslare resumes on Saturday
the 10th of July with 11.30hrs departure from Fishguard, returning from Rosslare
@ 15.00hrs. The vessel is currently in Dun Laoghaire at a lay-by berth and is
due in Fishguard on Monday the 28th of June.

Hopefully the reliability issues will be resolved by the time it goes back on the route.

Further to above , when displaced by the former Stena Hollandica , Stena Germanica will become Stena Vision and replace Finnarrow on the Karlskrona - Gydnia service , it will be followed by the Stena Scandinavica which will become Stena Spirit and replace Stena Baltica.

Stena Germanica II nearing completion in Poland, AIS is switched on and also the AIS for the new Stena Britanica is switched on in the shipyard in Wismar.

The Stena Trader will be withdrawn for transfer to Marine Atlantic at the end of september with the Stena Traveller following at the end of November.
Grimaldi's Corragio will take over the service from Killingholme - Hook of Holland until the new Stena Transit arrives in October , Finnarrow which will be displaced by the Stena Germanica III will take over from Stena Traveller until the new Stena Transporter arrives in Febuary 2011.

The "New" Stena Germanica has arrived in Gothenburg, Sweden prior to entry into service. Looks like an impressive refit and rebuild was done in Poland.

The Stena Lynx III has arrived in Dun Laoghaire having finished its summer operation on Rosslare - Fishguard , the Lynx will take up the Dun Laoghaire - Holyhead service on 14th September and the HSS Stena Explorer will again be mothballed for the winter months.

The former Stena Germanica has arrived at Remontowa for refurbishment and will become Stena Vision before entering service on Karlskrona - Gydnia service.
The new Stena Britannica will enter service on Harwich - Hook of Holland service on 9th October with the former Stena Britannica (soon to be Stena Scandinavica) heading to Remontowa the same day.
The Stena Carrier which has been made surplus on the Kiel - Gothenburg service by the arrival of the new Stena Germanica (ex Stena Hollandica) has entered service on the Harwich - Rotterdam service displacing Stena Transfer , it is not yet known where Stena Transfer will be deployed next.

All new Stena Britannica currently undergoing sea trials in the Wismar area due to arrive on the Harwich route in early October.

Stena Vision still showing as berthed in Gothenburg at the moment.

Will Stena Transfer head to the Irish Sea for the Fleetwood operations ?

All new Stena Britannica has arrived in Rotterdam in preparation for starting service on Saturday. The original Stena Britannica has been renamed Britannica.

The Stena Partner and Stena Transfer are, apparently, to be sold for scrap and would be too large for Fleetwood anyway.
