The Horizon will be back in Rosslare on 24th March.

Not sure how Stena are going to cover Superfast X which apparently has to make a short visit to drydock to correct a bow ramp issue, possibly get Adventurer back early and send Superfast to drydock asap with Horizon covering Superfast X.

Also unconfirmed rumours that Stena Carrier might head to central corridor after covering for Horizon.

Stena Horizon on some other images posted on web is showing the usual marks on the port side of the hull that berthing in Holyhead leave behind, thankfully plenty of time to correct when in Rosslare on days off.

Adventurer should be back as scheduled on 20th and Horizon will then cover for Superfast X. It's all on the Stena Line Freight live timetable.

As Rorie says, Horizon is the cover for SSF X.  She starts with the 15:10 ex Dublin on Tuesday 20th with SSF X returning on Sat 24th with the 02:15 ex Dublin.  Arrow finishes with the 23:30 ex Holyhead on Tuesday 20th with nothing showing as taking up those sailings (or any announcement of their continuation).  Filling and unloading ARROW between the other sailings is one thing, doing the same with Carrier and using such a large vessel for a single round trip a day (to sit around at Holyhead for much of the day) is quite another scenario entirely.  Wouldn't be surprised if she stayed with Stena though rather than going back out on charter, theres a few other places that could make good use of her in the network.

QuoteOn a recent visit to Belfast, Stena Line CEO Niclas Martensson presented the team on Stena Superfast VIII with the Scandinfo trophy for 2017.

Scandinfo is the measurement of customer satisfaction across the entire Stena Line fleet. Superfast VIII came out on top for the third time since 2013. She regained the crown from sister vessel Stena Superfast VII which won the trophy for the two previous years.

Stena Adventurer is back taking the 14:00 ex Holyhead. SFX is now taking her usual 15:10 ex Dubblin but with Horizon taking over with the 20:30 ex Holyhead this evening while SFX goes for repairs, not sure where she is going to.

Superfast X has stayed in Holyhead, must be a job for the travelling fitter.
Another note Stena getting a lot of stick on twitter about the Lagan going technical last night.

I don't think it was the Stena Lagan that was the problem, rather the Stena Precision that had some sort of failure and was blocking the only available berth at Birkenhead which caused the Lagan to be delayed.

I passed through Holyhead this morning. Stena Superfast X was on the Cruise ship Jetty and Stena Horizon was covering her sailing schedule.

Seems to have been Precision as she was on the north berth.  When she came off it Lagan went on, and Precision went out to anchor.  Tbh it's probably been a case of no information to give, though understandably a very stressful time for all of those involved.  A contact in Merseyside tells me it seems there's a problem on the south berth which has put it out of action as they haven't been using it lately.  Precision now in Cammel Laird.

My apologies should have done further research!

"The cruise ferry is being built specifically for Irish Ferries Dublin - Holyhead services.  It is expected to replace the schedule of the MV Ulysses, which in turn will replace the currently chartered vessel MV Epsilon in the fleet".
Doesn't say anything about a charter being extended until July 2020.  It's implied it will happen, but that's not the same as confirming it has.  There's also the assumption that W.B. YEATS will be in service without any issues in July - the delivery date has been pushed back already a few times and she's a first for the yard as well.  For all we know there could be a plan to retain Epsilon and use her elsewhere or sub-charter her out
