CLDN's Mazarine en route from Ringaskiddy to Zeebruge has run aground near Wolf Rock lighthouse off Cornwall.

Wow, amazing images and what are the chances in that area of a power failure and drifting onto the rocks at wolf rock, incredibly unlucky, just shows the danger of the seas on what are routine crossings that we take for granted.

An old Rosslare favourite Diplomat had similar problems in the same area back in February 2005. BBC report on that incident.

Seems like a long time ago, but the Mazarine is still in drydock in Falmouth. Must have been significant damage  or possibly need to fabricate some parts for repair to take this long.

(not sure but assume its still carrying its cargo)

Just checked on the Mazarine location and it's still in Falmouth!!

Not going to be leaving anytime soon by the look of it and all the trailers are still on board, since July 10th !

The Mazarine left drydock in Falmouth today, amazing it's been there since July.

Those with trailers on board will be glad to get the goods delivered.
