First spotted on faecbook, reported in this article that AF Claudia is being chartered by DFDS for its Rosslare - Dunkerque Service, the former Stena Forwarder and sister vessel of Stena RoRo Kerry.

Is this an extra ship or a replacement?

Guessing replacing Athena Seaways, which would see Optima Seaways and AF Claudia, two Visentini near sister vessels on the route, but you never know could be a third vessel on the route either.

Refit cover from what I believe.

AF Claudia has left Bari, due into Dunkerque on March 14th. To provide refit cover for DFDS on the Rosslare route.

Optima Seaways has departed Dunkerque for Gdansk so looks like the AF Claudia is replacing Optima and its off for refit.

AF Claudia has arrived in Rosslare for the first time tonight.

(a long long time ago was the Stena Forwarder on Dublin Holyhead)
