Just spotted this on YouTube, some great footage from onboard the Rosslare Bilbao ferry Salamanca.

Incudes some nice footage of stormy weather on the crossing and plenty of onboard footage

We sailed from Rosslare on the Salamanca to Bilbao on March 3rd.
It was by far the best ferry that I have been on. Spacious and very comfortable.
Well priced for food and drink.
Staff were much more friendly and engaging than the Irish Ferries staff
(sorry Irish Ferries but your people have no craic about them).
We were accompanied by dolphins when we were sailing off the coast of Cornwall.
Schools of them passing the bow of the ferry.
Then off the coast of Brittany we were sailing through the islands and loads of
lighthouses.
We purchased the C Club tickets. I would recommend that to you. Extremely comfortable and the food very very good.
The bar, Plaza Mayor was comfortable and pleasant. The 2 people staffing the bar were very engaging and most helpful.
We docked about 5 am but disembarkation started at 8am. I'm guessing that passport and customs start work then.
As I said, the best ferry I have been on.

Previously my favourite ferry was the dear old Oscar Wilde
I was so disappointed with the W.B. Yeats. I think that its a soulless ferry.

I have to say that it was a shock to find that there were no sailings to Fishguard from Rossslare scheduled in March
My parents emigrated to London in the 50s and I have countless memories of the boat trains to Rosslare and then from
Fishguard to Paddington. I still feel the sorrow of the millions who had to leave Ireland because no future here then.
There is no feeling of sorrow now. Thankfully.
