Just reading the new allowances for duty free goods
travelling to the UK from Ireland 42 litres of beer, 18 litres of wine 4 litres of spirits (or 9 litres of sherry etc)
travelling from the UK to Ireland  16 litres of beer, 4 litres wine, 1 litres spirits (or 2 litres sherry etc)
200 cigarettes max in both directions and an allowance of about ?400/ ?500 of other goods like perfumes and electrical.
