What ferry is this replacing??? Or is it an additional ferry to serve additional frequency on existing routes?

No official word yet, but the general assumption is Ireland - France.

Probaby Mega Express 4 and used for additional sailings on the cherbourg run

Maybe Blue Star 1 will be used as 2nd Holyhead ship with Epsilon and WB operating sailings to France on alternate days. Epsilon has over 2,800 lane metres while Blue Star 1 has 1,700 lane metres.

Could it be that Blue Star 1 will pair with WBY to offer a daily service from Dublin to Cherbourg? The thinking behind this is that in the time of Covid it is not lane meters of vehicle accommodation that matters but cabins because each truck driver [and maybe some holidaymakers later in the summer] requires his/ her own cabin and Blue Star 1 has a good number of cabins.

Maybe Dublin - Cherbourg at weekends with Epsilon Midweek.

More of her funnel - looks like a very bright shade of green compared to normal.
