Visby has left drydock and is alongside the docks in Oresund, now called Visborg but ais still Visby and looks to still be in Destination Gotland branding, with a clean freshly painted hull, might go even faster than before.

Is she coming back to the Rosslare Dunkerque route?

Visborg returns to service with DFDS tomorrow from Dunkerque, images on Facebook show a "half arsed" paint job has been done during refit, with lots of touch ups on the hull and various other areas.

Photos below by Julien Carpentier of the Visborg in Dunkerque today.

Regina Seaways crossing looks to have been delayed last night, left Rosslare just before midnight but went to the Rosslare anchorage before sailing at just after 9, assume it was avoiding weather.

Reported on the Facebook this evening that Optima Seaways is returning to Rosslare - Dunkerque route as DFDS increase capacity on the route to three vessels and possibly open up the route to passenger traffic.

Optima has become available following arrival of new vessels Aura and Luna Seaways.

Great article and images here on the DFDS fleet upgrades.

Some images of the Optima Seaways in Rosslare taken last Saturday morning May 21st from the Stena Europe.

Looks very fresh after its recent refit and sports one of the earlier scrubber installations when they did not attempt to integrate into the existing design.

Reported on the Facebook last night DFDS are about to open the Dunkerque route for passenger traffic from July.

Optima Seaways has seeming been redeployed to another route within the DFDS network, it was not being utilised that efficiently spending a lot of time in port, as the route prepares to open to passengers what is the next vessel to arrive in Rosslare going to be ?

loch garman

Great news. I wonder was the Regina getting power freight loads?

Any update on the car / passenger service from Rosslare to Dunkirk? Was thinking of making a trip in January but can see nothing on the DFDS website.
