They look very impressive, but only capacity for 1,200 passengers !!!.
Ironically too small for the Rosslare - Fishguard route ! Bizzare (I know they could be reconfigured but the Felicity could carry 1,800 people, the Beatrix 1,800, the Europe 1,400) the worlds largest ferry can carry a lot of freight but not so many people.

Super Ferry
Stena Britannica is a car carrier, passenger ferry, cargo transport and cruise ship all rolled into one; watch her as she enters active service on the busiest ferry route in the world, between Holland and England.

Stena Britannica was built to change the way people and things move. It's a bold, exciting, 21st century gamble. At a cost of over a billion dollars, Stena Line, the largest ferry company in Europe, has merged a car carrier, passenger ferry, cargo transport and cruise ship into the largest, most luxurious, most technically advanced "super" ferry in the world. There is nothing else like her.

Stena Britannica caters to everyone from truck drivers to business professionals to families on vacation with kids and pets in tow. Accommodating them all requires a ship that has everything - luxury accommodations, multiple dining and entertainment choices, and speedy load and unload times. It also requires not only a state of the art ferry... but an entire state of the art ferry infrastructure. Like... a new, innovative "linkspan" load system... or a navigation system designed for warships to track multiple targets, but in this case to track hundreds of ships in the English Channel... or new ferry traffic control centres to manage hundreds of vehicles and thousands of passengers.

Join Mighty Ships as we sail with Stena Britannica from the shipyard that built her into active service on the busiest ferry route in the world between Holland and England. The stakes are huge. Britannica can't make a single mistake on the bridge, in the engine room or at the terminal. If she does, it could be a super problem.
