I think this has been covered elsewhere on this forum recently as I seem to recall replying to it somewhere.

Im told that new double deck ramps are expected to be installed at VT2 Belfast. In the interim the Birkenhead service will use VT1 and the Heysham ships will move upstream to the old Stena terminal at Albert Quay. I would imagine there is no impact on schedules as a result of this temporary change.

I did hear March or April mentioned as a start date for this work but it will also involve a reconfiguring of VT2.
