Balearia is in the process of ordering two new LNG powered ferries , no images yet sadly , the new ships are to be built in Spanish yards , I am hearing that there is an expected building boom of new tonnage for the ferry industry after years of stagnation , some interesting times ahead if true. http://www.marinelog.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=9693:lanaval-poised-to-ink-order-to-build-two-lng-fueled-ferries&Itemid=226

I would imagine there will be a lot of customers, as many members of fleets are becoming fairly ancient, right across the industry.

Interesting point about the construction being in a Spanish yard. The racehorse class always comes to mind when I think of Spanish built ships, probably because I travel on the European Endeavour so often!

I would imagine the Spanish yards are as good as any.
