Gerry must be delighted to be driving the ship to Holyhead for the few weeks!

Oscar how was your stomach??  :o

The IOI has always handled the bad weather very well, but that might not mean the same thing for the passengers  :o

Its hard to believe i was looking at this ship on numerous occasions in rosslare and now the chaos on her way to Ancona!!

I take it they dont do sprinklers on ferries??? The rescue effort looks like a complete and utter farce.

The mersey spirit is back in rosslare to bunker with the stena horizon again. She seems to be over every 4-5 weeks now.

I never realised how often the Oscar Wilde bunkers either. Maybe my eyes were closed but Inver Energy seem to top up the fuel every time she sails into rosslare now...usually 3-4 trucks each time.

When you mention the sand in Rosslare, there was a dredger there a few weeks ago. I'm not sure how many days it was there but maybe Larry could might have seen more of what was going on?

I dont know if any of you listened to the south east radio interview (on you tube) with the port manager John Lynch. What he mentioned on that interview he has pulled off  ;D

Why would a cruise ship visit Rosslare since there's nothing there to see? Looks like Irish Rail are just waisting more money.

You hardly think these tourists are going to spend the day in Rosslare harbour?

How in the name of heavens could CIE be wasting money by bringing in more paying business into the port?  ::)

This Cruise ship won't dock alongside one of the berths I don't think because she is far to big,
so Id say it will be like DĂșn Laoghaire, She will just anchor outside the port.

The isle of inishmore is a longer ship than the Albatros. What is the issue?

Irish ferries dont leave a bus on the Isle of inishmore.....the last time i travelled as a foot passenger on the IOI they actually used a private taxi company bus for the short transfer. In pembroke they used their own mini bus.

In Pembroke...do you really think they are going to allow foot passengers along the vehicle ramp?

Id rather not read about some poor chap getting squashed under an articulated truck or car :o

They will probably finish the little ship bit on the S on Monday-Tuesday.

They had two cherry pickers painting down there on Monday. The back looked quite hard to paint as the cherry pickers had to reach from a very low platform. 8)
