In bad weather I cant think of a better ship to be on than Ulysses , very solid in rough conditions and excellent handeling , Ulysses usually gives a smooth ride in all weather conditions , only once have I felt motion on Ulysses and that was during a tropical storm! , and no I dont work for Irish Ferries but I have travelled on many ships and in my experience , for bad weather Ulysses is the best of them.

Excellent stuff Swift , those really are spectacular pictures , I could only find these three over on www.shipspotting.com perhaps we could twist your arm into posting a few more? (I notice you have an increadable collection of outstanding pictures of ferries operating in Ireland)

Brttany Ferries has shown an interest in re-opening the Cork - St Malo service , using the Innisfallen during gaps in its operating sheduale would be one way of doing this.

The Innisfallen is unlikely to serve Roscoff , however having said that there is enough of a gap in the off-peak timetable to do a run to France under contract to Brittany Ferries if they wanted it to , given the ammount of help Brittany Ferries have given to the new B&I line I dont see the two companies competing with each other.

A rare shot of the Oscar Wilde and Normandy together.

How come the Innismore ended up sailing to Dublin? I would have thought that with mostly Munster fans onboard Rosslare would have been the more locical port
