No one I believe, back to single ship opperation.

Based on the Stena booking site it,ll be a 2 ship operation again from the beginning of May 2024.

Quote from: 20knots on November 26, 2023, 01:19:07 PMThere was also a route from Cork to Swansea which ceased around 2011 and a route from Rosslare to Roscoff (France).

Fastnet Lines acquired the ship Julia in Autumn 2009 for the Cork-Swansea route and began sailings in early 2010. They ceased operations in late 2011.

Looks like Salamanca will be staying in Cobh overnight as tonight's Rosslare to Bilbao sailing has been cancelled. Port of Cork website showing her next move as 930am tomorrow. She'll have to move to allow another victim of the bad weather Fred Olsens Borealis berth at the cruise terminal.

Quote from: Kieran on November 01, 2023, 01:34:45 PMThis has resulted in Salamanca being diverted to Ringaskiddy (she's on at the new container terminal), while Armorique is on the ro-ro berth. Possibly the first time we have had 2 BF ships along side in Cork at the same time?

Fairly sure it is a first!

Several people are missing after two cargo ships collided off Germany's North Sea coast, German authorities say. The British-flagged Verity reportedly collided with the Bahamian Polesie at around 5:00 local time (3:00 GMT) on Tuesday morning. The Verity is believed to have sunk. The German coastguard said at least one person had been rescued and teams are searching for several more missing people.

On this evening's programme we see how Brexit has benefited the Southeast Port of Rosslare in County Wexford. We see how busy it has become and we hear of the plans to expand and develop the harbour facilities which have seen huge growth in recent times.
