I have done this a few times over the years, sometimes flying to Uk, and sometimes rail-sail. A delay to the ferry can cause serious issues. In the past there were some great deals with free upgrades on the Eurostar. In reality though I found it too much hassle unless I was already in the UK anyways.

I have experienced that terminal late at night a few times over the years. It is very grim, very uncomfortable seats and never anything open or any security. Not very warm either.

The WB Yeats much slower with deck 5 bow door out of action. Added a good 20/30 minutes more than usual for me to disembark.

The Adventurer looking better after a paint job, however the Europe is really tired looking and was not able to to complete sailing from Holyhead to Dublin on time.

What would be lead time on fabrication like that door? Wonder where they will fit it?

Will Stena definitely have 2 ships back on the Dublin Holyhead route next week? Mad that they only had the one ship on the route.

Boris ordered his Tories to vote only one way in the fire and rehire vote last October.

The News Board / Club Mara, Irish Ferries

Anyone any information on Irish Ferries new Clubmara loyalty program? Was annoyed during Covid that Stena didn't extend their loyalty points(small thing, but I'll take my business elsewhere).

In the past a phone call to a nice agent has resulted in the emailing me the timetable. Or try a phone call to the Irish Ferries Cherbourg port office.

If anyone does already have it, or feels like going to the bother of finding out, can they please post here? ;D

Thanks for posting that, missed it.  Looks like it will be a while yet before it is finally sorted. Was handled very badly by the senior management.

Great to hear, one of the few ferries that I really look forward to a decent meal on.

Yes indeed Shipmate.
Truck Rates.
?1300 odd Rosslare to Bilbao,  ?1000 odd Dublin to Cherbourg,  ?850 to ?900 Rosslare to Cherbourg .
All meals included,  except on Brittany Rosslare to Bilbao we pay 20% of the bill.
If the ferries are full of tourists,  we as freight drivers will share with up to 3 other drivers,  which may all be strangers.

Not done the Bilbao route, might do it next summer. Is the food decent? Very good on the Cork Roscoff(PontAven).
