See comparisons in attached.Quote from: alfie79 on March 24, 2021, 04:17:48 PMHow come , it appears to be running the same way on both sides as it should !

The Merrion Lounge / Re: Suez Canal Blocked

How do you refloat a ship somewhere like that? The article talks about tides, but, it's a canal (and doesn't look like they can raise the water level a lot). I assume the only option is to lighten her (take-off boxes)?
In other new, I personally feel a lot better about the first time I failed my driving test for not doing a good job of the 3 point turn. Least I didn't hold up world trade like.
She is dug right into the bank. I'd say it will take a while to get moving again.
Seems to be mixed reports what actually happened. Some say the wind, others say engine failure.

The Merrion Lounge / Suez Canal Blocked
March 24, 2021, 08:27:09 AM
Suez has been blocked for over 24hrs now. But some of the online commentary is funny. Ship is operated by a Chinese company, so apparently this is just the latest step by China for world domination! #TinfoilHats

There must be large numbers of continental drivers now stuck in the UK who might consider a reroute through Ireland. Not to mention the Irish drivers who were just passing through and now need a direct route.
