Hello, I've just joined the forum and thought this was as good a place as any to start. I must admit I don't really have a favourite ferry company and I've travelled with all operators on the Irish Sea, infact I've been on every passenger ferry between the Island of Ireland and the GB mainland in the past two years. I used to travel a lot with my work, but now I've more time to travel for leisure. We are very lucky to have quality ferry services and the ability to choose routes, ships and operators with whom to travel. I can't fault any of the operators, crews or ships, especially when compared to those in other areas of Europe.
If I had to choose, for the central corridor I would say Irish Ferries - purely because the Ulysses is the best ship anywhere on the Irish Sea (in my opinion anyway!), but for the routes to/from Northern Ireland it would be Stena Line.
