Agree 100%

More interested on topics like.

What is status of Irish Ferries finding the long term replacement for the I  try ish Sea fleet.

And for Stena the status of the Liverpool Dublin route - what ferry replacing horizon.

Is Europe staying or off to med.

So many interesting thinks to discuss other than a table calculation!

Hi All,
Been watching a bit across month of Jan and curious on impact and length of the reductions on Ireland - France freight services

Irish Ferries -
Change to Norbay no 4th sailing
All back normal next month according to schedule with WB Yeats and Oscar Wilde

Stena - reduction to just Vision till Apr, return normal the

DFDS - only one vessel

Finn lines - only one vessel

Anyone closer to it with an opinion of how see it all shaping up this year.

THanks

This makes so much sense with the railway.

Are they also going to move Portsmouth le harve sailings to Cherbourg.

With only 2 sailings to Ireland and 2 sailings to Portsmouth a week surely not enough to sustain daily train, would need the additional sailings
(Poole is summer only)

Quote from: ccs on July 24, 2023, 12:48:40 PMBrittany Ferries schedule til Nov now available online. Interesting that Cork Roscoff service that usually doesnt operate from beginning of November to mid March is continuing to operate every Saturday until 30th December and beginning again on 10th February 2024.
Armorique will take over from Pont Aven on the Saturdays from early November with her own Wednesday sailings finishing on 1st November and recommencing in mid March when Pont Aven returns to take over the Saturday sailing.

I notice rosslare Cherbourg continues through winter as well. Can't remember did it run last winter?

Schedule updated as Nordica from tomorrow evenibg

Quote from: giftgrub on June 23, 2023, 08:55:24 AMNo idea what the technical is,

It is due to go for refit very soon once the Nordica comes back from covering the Stena Forerunner (which is in drydock) on Harwich Rotterdam.

The Nordica sailings on the Stena Line Freight site, are allocated to Forerunner (which is still in drydock) today and cancelled so it might be on the way back today.
