The HAMMERODDE which is joining the Stena Line fleet soon as the third ship on Gothenburg- Fredrickshaven is to be renamed as Stena Vinga and will sail alongside the Danica and Jutlandica.Stena Minga more like it ha ha. Ugly thing
The veranda windows on Isle of Inishmore and Isle of Inishfree are not dirty , their seals are blown out due to sea conditions, engine vibrations etc and leak in heavy seas. The cost of replacing them is not justifiable given the lack of use this area gets normally during refit cover on Dublin Holyhead route. I understand the Isle of Innisfree was in worse condition prior to sale than the ones on Isle of Inishmore mainly due to more severe engine vibration on the Isle of Innisfree.Bilt to a price. Get what you pay for
Does anybody know what is wrong with Isle of Inishmore. My parents currently travelling on it today from Pembroke to Rosslare. They were told when they checked in at Pembroke that the ship would dock in Rosslare at least 45 mins late due to engine troublesShe’s emotional over Ulysses ha ha. You said it was engine so why ask
Ideas that stena line should do to its routes.Did Irish ferries get another boat? Dey are even getting rid of the fast cat when the big new boat arrives any way. Holyhead to Dover ?
First off all i can understand why stena got rid of HSS due to fuel issues i think instead of getting read of it is to get a smaller fast craft like the swift that is more profitable and move it to dublin [prt and shut down dun loaghire. The HSS dropping is unstandble but i think its not right as irish ferries currently has 3 vessles and a fast ferry.stena line should bring back the fast ferries 2018 or 19 even for scotland routes and other. and introudce a vessel for holyhead to dubin and dover like elipsion irish ferries elipsion
Stena do have a pooling arrangement with Irish Ferries, who are by far a bigger adversary than P&O.Is dis an April fools? Stena pooling with Irish Ferries ha ha
It's just a theory, but if European Seaway can operate Larne - Cairnryan, I would think Belfast to Cairnryan would be straight forward enough.
StenaRoRo is indeed a separate company from Stena Line, but I imagine the latter could offer competitive charter rates, and likewise P&O could offer Stena Line a similar deal with European Seaway.
European Endeavour would be ideal for Holyhead, however her bow-doors would have to be brought back into operation for such an operation.
Brittany Ferries have a cosy arrangement with Stena Line. Stena Baltica is owned by Brittany Ferries, and likewise, Connemara is a Stena RoRo vessel.
