Title: IoI bridge tour
Post by: Meet the dockers on February 05, 2017, 10:01:18 pm
Taking a trip on IoI  to Pembroke next Monday, 13th Feb, I am taking my two boys and was wondering if it is possible to get a tour of the bridge for them, and me ;-)  and if so how would I go about organising it? Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Best thing to do is to just ask on the day at reception if it would be possible for a bridge visit. Unless you know someone in IF that could send an email to the ship for you.

E-mail IF customer services with your booking ref and ask if it's possible, normally depends on the captain and sea conditions on the day.

Odd of them to phrase it that way.  Do they have a flow chart to decide when the illness is serious enough?

Now thats a point.  How do they determine if the illness is genuine?  Do you need a doctors letter?  Bizarre!

Sounds like something Jimmy Saville would have asked.

If he is you should get a photo.  Might be worth a few quid!

In all seriousness, anyone else hear anything on this?  Seems a bit of a strange policy as they've seemed to be quite accommodating previously.
