Rosslare to Cherbourg ferry

The Southern Ireland – France link, previously launched by the company between Rosslare and Le Havre in November 2008, is being re-located to operate via the North West France Port of Cherbourg to increase service frequency, which shorter crossing times to and from Rosslare will provide.

LD Lines’ Norman Voyager  will operate the new service, providing six return sailings each week with a crossing time of 17 hours, compared to the previous 22 hours Le Havre crossing time.

It would appear to be the end for LD Lines Irish services with Celtic Link and the Norman Voyager going on charter to Celtic Link.
