Former Stena Lagan is ever so slowly getting ready to return to service (the complex rebuilding is running behind schedule) as Stena Scandica, latest video is below.

Also seems to be first appearance of revised Stena Line livery with new font for the Connecting Europe slogan.

Stena Scandica is floating at long last as the drydock was flooded last night.
Looks like the bow is nearly finished, missing paint and lots of fresh weld marks on the bow doors in images posted on LinkedIn

AN INVESTIGATION IS continuing after a woman and her 11-year-old daughter went overboard from a ferry as it moved into dock in Belfast yesterday. They were rescued from Belfast harbour after entering the water from the Stena Horizon vessel, which was arriving from Liverpool. A rescue boat from another Stena Line ferry that was in the harbour at the time, the Stena Superfast VII, was the first to reach them, and crew members managed to pull them to safety.

Stena Estrid's delayed arrival from Cherbourg this afternoon (due to earlier weather delays from Saturday) is causing some congestion in Rosslare this evening. Stena Europe waited for the berth to come available and will have to be turned around in an hour if not to delay the Inishmore.
Connemara and Drotten on the other berths. Foreteller will return to the berth to finish loading for the 22.00 sailing after their departure.

In some good news for Rosslare Fishguard the Stena Europe is from today going to 24 crossings per week ! Nearly back at full service.
Sunday and Monday remain at reduced frequency.
