I've been trying to figure this one out all day, what if they are right, what if it is an extension to the land-bridge, which they continually claim is the most efficient way to get to the content.

If they opened up from Dover, it would mean they could offer hauliers the cheapest and fastest crossings to France in one booking. They have obviously done their research here, there is a cost to chartering a ferry to cover Rosslare, then the cost of establishing a new service, so there is a thought out plan behind it.

I have being doing the same and i agree with you their party line was the landbridge was the efficient way to get to mainline europe,
ever since ICG took over B&I  landbridge with P&O was the main driving, french run was always the bridemaids
only recently with the new build WB Yeats did they seem to show interest in the french which was surprising because they always went for  second hand ships

i have a good technical general arrangement plan of the Oscar Wilde & Ulysses &Normandy if any one wants it

good for model  building
