WB Yeats had trouble berthing in Holyhead this afternoon due to high winds presumably finally on the berth at 5pm.

Mega Express Four departed Dublin 16.00ish for its first weekend sailing to Cherbourg.
Mega Express Four was can cancelled yesterday afternoon ex 14.30 Dublin and return due to the weather.

Epsilon sailing to Cherbourg ex Dublin was delayed last night departing 5 hours late after a 4 hour late from Cherbourg.

IOI Rosslare Pembroke was running around 10 hours late this morning arriving in Rosslare at 16.45 vice 06.45. With the  08.45 ex Rosslare and return cancelled it is now back on time for the 20.45 tonight.

Wound not fancy being on any sailing on the Irish Sea this weekend.

Looks like they going to double up on crossings to France from Dublin

Mega Express 4's charter is until the end of March ( i think). Epsilon is due to take over from IOI on the 20th March and with WB full time on France run it leaves Dublin to Holyhead with only one ship so perhaps any other ship being chartered will be for cover here,

Rumours are that charter is for two years, hull is now plain blue with no Blue Star Ferries branding so that would imply not a short term charter.

Looking at the IF timetable it appears that Epsilon will be taking over from IOI from the 5th April until the 11th April while IOI dry docks, leaving Ulysses as the only ship on the central corridor.Epsilon does not reappear on the timetable after her covering duties. Ireland-France timetable is currently blank for April until the 25th May when the WB advertised summer schedule takes over.

I think Mega Express 4 will be operating Epsilon's Holyhead schedule. Don't forget that Blue Star 1 is due next month

Has BLUE STAR 1 been officially confirmed by Irish Ferries? I haven?t seen anything official apart from various rumours to date.
