I and my brother went to Ireland on the Swansea Cork Ferry and was disappointed. We went earlyApril until 16th April it cost a  WOPPING £430 return that included amended date which i changed same day i booked. The cabin was fine but couldn't sleep as it was VERY stuffy and airless i had to open the cabin door but that didn't help either and the ceiling vent was opned fully . The Cimema over and on the return was'nt operating. My brother got a chicken curry and rice which cost over  14 euros I got two small roles with a salad which cost 4.75 euros. The Julia sign looks like a  food take away sign. The ferry is useful if you need to bring  alot of stuff in your car
and i would'nt be surprised if i was told its the most expensive ferry in the World...is it??  richard

HI Richard
I'm sorry you & your brother were disappointed with your trip on the Julia. Did you contact the crew on-board about the problem with the cabin - they might have been able to transfer you to an alternative cabin.

In any case, you might do better by contacting Fastnet Line themselves (info@fastnetline.com) - as they're really the only people who can deal with your issues.

As to food prices - that doesn't sound unlike what you'd be charged here on the Irish mainland....

Regards
Adrian

As Adrian said, contact Fastnet directly, only way they will be able to improve things is if they receive feedback from passengers....

That's not expensive compared to what you would pay on land, and less expensive compared to other operators.

Sorry, but chicken curry & rice is not 14 euro on either Rosslare ships. I also felt the food on the Julia was on the expensive side, when compared to the competitors. I was actually warned, when chatting to the customs man at Swansea (who gave my van the once over!!), that the public areas were "stuffy" onboard - and the air blower thing, in my cabin, was also very weak - it used to be the opposite on Superferry & either froze you or blew you out the top bunk - or both!
