Anybody know if this deal, which seems to now include all Irish Sea ships, means an end to H&W dry docking for Stena.

"Swedish ferry operator Stena Line has renewed its planned maintenance agreement with MacGregor, part of Cargotec. Stena Line has held MacGregor Onboard Care (MOC) agreements since 2008 and its latest contract takes the number of RoRo vessels covered to 39."

No.  MacGregor is a supplier, notably of bow doors and whinching equipment.  It makes sense to have them provide maintenance services since they manufactured much of this equipment in the first place.

Absolutley, Steven.  For those who saw the Might Ships episode featuring the Stena Britannica, a MacGregor engineer appeared to help resolve the problem with the bow ramp, which left it operating as a stern loader for several sailings.  If I recall correctly, the firm was originally called MacGregor Navire.
