Has taken on a new identity after its short lived time in Sweden, now chartered by Viking Line the look Express

Up against Tallinks new LNG powered Megastar it will be interesting to see how it performs.

Apparently the top car deck is being converted into a shop according to rumours.

Interesting read. I never knew she was a holder of the Hales Trophy.

Seems the car deck conversion rumor was just that, a rumour.  The deckplan they have published is virtually identical to that when she left Larne!

She is still called EXPRESS (they've even repainted her with that name), but is marketed as Viking FSTR with that name down her side.  They certainly wont be doing much shopping trade on her compared to MegaStar, thats for sure!

It appears not much has changed.  Kalle says there is even some P&O signage still in place unaltered.

Express is available again so it seems Viking Line have not decided to repeat this years experiment.  Her season was cut 5 days short this year due to engine problems.

Pictured leaving a shipyard having had her livery modified to read "King Line" instead of Viking Line.
